Repair Broken Provenance Chains

Projection: provenance tools will support explicit recovery when metadata is stripped—linking a derivative to an earlier signed asset through a new, clearly marked assertion. Interfaces must distinguish recovered claims from continuous cryptographic history so repair does not become a path for laundering false provenance.
